Jamie is Co-Founder of Virtual Recall which provides iRecall® and OurVet.Shop™. iRecall® is the UK’s most successful client communication solution and operates in over 1,850 clinics across three continents. Since Zoetis’ acquisition of Virtual Recall (July 2020), Jamie was appointed Senior Commercial Director within Zoetis’ Digital Practice Services Business Unit. In addition, Jamie owns and runs a 145-year old family-owned multi-branch veterinary practice in Surrey. He has also had a 20-year career in media, appearing regularly as a vet on The Big Breakfast, Sky News and co-presented Pet Rescuers and Pet Rescue Roadshow. He broadcasts around the country and is a regular speaker at UK veterinary business, technology and marketing seminars, conferences and events. Jamie is an active Trustee of the Petplan Charitable trust.

Dr. Boris Rapp has a doctorate in human medicine and has also studied business administration. He has held leading positions in the healthcare sector for many years, since October 2019 he is CEO of VetTrust AG, with 40 locations the leading group for small animal clinics and practices in Switzerland.

The development of veterinary groups is a very recent development in Switzerland in the last 10 years. The lecture will present the organisational and management concept of VetTrust, by far the largest veterinary group in Switzerland, and methods of how uniform group-wide standardisation and quality approaches have been successfully combined with degrees of freedom and self-responsibility of the medical practitioners.

Rebecca is the Founder and Director of InsideMinds Consulting Ltd, a specialist veterinary marketing consultancy applying consumer psychology principles to veterinary businesses. Human behaviour is much less rational than we like to think, being largely driven by emotions, subconscious biases and heuristics.
